FIRESHOWSWEST FOUNDATION

The FireShowsWest First Responders Training and Education Foundation (FFRTEF) is a 501(c)3 was established in 2018 as a nonprofit corporation in Nevada.

PURPOSE

The specific objectives and purposes of this corporation shall be to provide training and education to first responders in all disciplines through educational seminars, hands-on training, certification requirements and a deliverance of a trade show that showcases products for safety.

TRAINING

​This training would be extended to all career and volunteer personnel within the 10 Western states.  Oversight of these programs will be the responsibility of an Educational Committee​ comprised of members from the 10 Western states.  By providing this valuable training and ongoing educational opportunities, FireShowsWest First Responders Training and Education Foundation will prepare first responders with the latest information and techniques that can be used in protecting the communities and citizens they serve.

HERE'S A LITTLE ABOUT US...

Did You Know.....We've been around since 1997?

  • The core team has been together for 23 years 

  • We come from many disciplines of emergency response

  • We have taught over 10,000 participants

  • We have had hundreds of well known "top notch" instructors

  • We have taken thousands of pictures

  • We have brought together thousands of laughs

  • We have shared many tears of sorrow over the first responders we have lost

  • We have brought forth lots of changes and facilitated some new directions

  • We have worked with many associations

  • We have created many committees for input and ideas

  • The exhibit hall has showcased new products with nearly 2400 different companies

  • We have a Vendor Advisory Committee who help guide the activities inside the exhibit hall

  • We have fun (chili cook-off teams, games in the exhibit hall, scratch off promotions)

  • We give away prizes….B I G prizes...like $1,000 prizes

  • We network together

  • We encourage mentorship at all levels

  • We bring new ideas to the training sessions

  • We support and give back to many other nonprofit organizations.... such as the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation, Firefighter Combat Challenge, Nevada State Firefighters Association, Fire Prevention Associations, CERT Response teams, community fire victims organizations...and many more

  • We are members in good standing with the Fire and Emergency Services Manufacturers Association (FEMSA), and the International Public Safety Association (IPSA).

  • We promote sincerity…not arrogance

  • We give it a college try to be proactive on social media (although, we could use some help!)

  • We are concerned about first responders' health and wellness

  • Best of all.....we absolutely LOVE bringing educational opportunities and new products to our first responders
