Her professional journey is marked by an extraordinary work ethic and a lifelong commitment to turning passion into purpose. From construction to marketing and catering to event planning. Trish has consistently channeled her energy into roles that demanded accountability, adaptability, and relentless follow through. That drive ultimately led her to a successful career in real estate, where she helped individuals and families achieve major life goals.

That calling emerged when she was invited to assist with Fire Shows West, a firefighter training conference in Reno, Nevada. It was during this experience that she found her true purpose, supporting those who dedicate their lives to serving others.

Trish immediately fell in love with the fire service, its culture, and its people. She recognized the profound impact that high quality training, education, and community have on firefighter safety, effectiveness, and career longevity. Through her leadership, FireShowsWest has grown not only in scale and success, but in meaning.

While Trish’s work is largely behind the scenes, her impact is unmistakable. She has played a pivotal role in shaping FireShowsWest into a nationally respected conference that directly contributes to firefighter readiness and ultimately, community safety. The success, sustainability, and mission driven focus of FireShowsWest are a direct reflection of her leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to helping the helpers.

IN MEMORIAM

Dayle & Carole Wellbrock

The FireShowsWest family was very saddened to hear the news of the passing of Dayle Wellbrock, Founder and President of FireShowsWest, on December 5, 2020.

Dayle was the enthusiastic, driving force behind FireShowsWest and his love of training first responders was in his DNA.  For the past 23 years, Dayle was the visionary of providing outstanding education and training to firefighters throughout the West coast. He loved the excitement of planning for the opening of the exhibit hall.  Every year, he was so excited to welcome everyone to the event and looked forward to shaking hands with the exhibitors and attendees.  His big smile, his contagious laugh and daily inspiration will be deeply missed by many.

His wife, Carole, was by his side at every conference and became the sweet face that greeted everyone in registration.

Three days after Dayle's passing, Carole went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2020. The FireShowsWest family was devastated to learn of Carole's passing.

In memory of their passing, the Dayle Wellbrock Scholarship Fund has been established and will provide scholarships to attend the annual FireShowsWest Conference and Expo beginning in 2021.
