
FireShowsWest (FSW) is a fire service conference and expo with a target audience in the 10 Western States. FSW is in the process of accepting proposals for class sessions for its 2022 conference program.





Types of class submissions to be accepted:
Keynote Session

All topics open for consideration

60 min presentation
Hands-On Training (8 hour)

All hands-on sessions must be self-contained and coordinated by the instructor.
Fire Prevention Classes

Suppression/Unified Command

8 hour 4 hour sessions; 90 min sessions

Submission Document
Course submissions are limited to one page of text and a second, optional page.
Instructor Background
Instructor Biography must accompany the submission.
If the course has multiple instructors, a biography for each instructor must accompany the submission.
Approximate Instructor(s) Cost
Please include the following as part of the submission:
- Approximate Travel Costs for all instructors
- Audio Visual needs
- Room set up required for the presentation
- Course materials / books that are required for the students


Speaker Reimbursements
FireShowsWest will reimburse instructors for airfare, mileage, parking, and a daily per diem. Hotel accommodations will be provided during the dates of instruction.
Please note: Honorariums are considered only for the keynote speaker.
Submission Reviews
All submissions will be reviewed and evaluated by the FireShowsWest Professional Development Educational Committee.
Approvals/Notifications
Course selections will be recommended by the Educational Committee to the FireShowsWest Conference team by the end of February. Final course selections will accepted/rejected the end of March by FireShowsWest show management.
Health and Safety Guidelines
All class sessions will be set up to meet CDC & local health requirements for the safety of the instructors and participants.
