FireShowsWest is very saddened to report the passing of Dayle Wellbrock, Founder and President of FireShowsWest, on December 5, 2020.
Dayle was the enthusiastic, driving force behind FireShowsWest and his love of training first responders was in his DNA. For the past 23 years, Dayle was the visionary of providing outstanding education and training to firefighters throughout the West coast.
He loved the excitement of planning for the opening of the exhibit hall. Every year, he was so excited to welcome everyone to the event and looked forward to shaking hands with the exhibitors and attendees. His big smile, his contagious laugh and daily inspiration will be deeply missed by many.
His wife, Carole, was by his side at every conference and became the sweet face that greeted everyone in registration. Please keep the Wellbrock family in your thoughts and prayers.

On Tuesday, December 8, 2020, Carole Beatrice Lee Wellbrock, loving wife, mother, and grandmother went home to be with the Lord at the age 86. Carole was born on March 19, 1934 to Hazel and Clarence Lee. She was born and grew up in Fergus Falls, MN.
She married the love of her life, Dayle Harris Wellbrock on April 11, 1953. They moved to California, where she worked as a legal secretary and returned to school to become a paralegal specializing in probate law. She also was fortunate to work closely with Dayle in their business ventures - Quala-Tel and Fire Shows West.
A celebration of life for Dayle and Carole was held on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 9:30 am. and they were laid to rest in the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 11:15AM.
